E-Mail Use

Employees should not respond to requests for their agency e-mail address, except for business-related purposes. Giving your agency e-mail address provides a potential window of opportunity for businesses and individuals to indiscriminately send unsolicited non-work related, SPAM or junk, e-mail to you. Spam or junk e-mail has a potential for slowing down the transmission of data on state computer networks.
